				Targa Top Insulation

Insulation Indirectly related to cooling... have just rebuilt Targa top including insulation. Below, plate material being fitted (to underside of roof plates.) Aluminized polyester positioned just before laminating it to top padding. Padding & foil after trim out. Skin will float atop foil. Did not take data in order to make before & after temp comparisons. Have to believe that with insulation, thermal barrier of roof has increased. Cost and weight addition for adding insulation to roof are insignificant. Time to include insulation in roof rebuild = 2 hrs. (Finding & testing materials is additional.)
