OK - I am thinking this is product placement. Probably the guy who drives this type of vehicle dreams about driving Jerry's kind of cars. Kind of like the pepsicola glasses next week with Amy.

Part of this is about bringing the revenue.

Accessing the carbs for tuning.

They first appeared on the second iteration of the 550 spyder, the 550A
then became a necessity on the RSK and RS60 when they no longer had a flip up rear clamshell.
