I have made a few out of .028 MIG welding wire. I had to try it a few times to get the right dimensions but they work. You have to go a little past 90° at the bends to get the spring.

I am impressed with the make your own spring thing for free. If you are going to buy anything, you can buy the whole connector with the pin, housing, and clip for $3.95

I didn't see anything in the PET that had that specific part of the connector as a separate P/N. Why not shoot user Timmy2 a PM? He makes harnesses and may be able to help you out.

Hasn't been mentioned, but you could go to a U-pull-it junkyard and harvest a few of these from mid-80's BMW's or other Bosch derived cars. Not sure you have those up in Connecticut, but they are all over down here in Florida, and usually quite interesting to browse around in.

Clips For 3.2 Engine Harness Connectors

How many do you need. I probably have a few spares from old harnesses kicking around.
Pm me your address and I'll mail some to you for free.
I'm sure I have a forever stamp to donate too.

Having parted out a ton of cars to pay for the addiction, you have no idea how many WTF moments I've had over the years. Parted out cars are not typically owned by winners. If I found these post-purchase, this is one of the very few times where I'd think what a great idea. Could be only. Man it's terrible what some people do these cars with homespun crap.

Thanks for the offer Timmy 2, I ordered 2 from Eagle Day, if they aren't the right ones, I'll take you up on your offer.
