Rear main seal - while I'm in there
I may be pulling one of my engines to replace the rear main seal. This one is stock 2.7 CIS. I have a couple things on the list to replace while I'm there.
1) Crankshaft Seal 65 X 85 X 10 mm (Flywheel, Rear) 2) Flywheel Bolts - Crankshaft to Flywheel x 6 3) Pilot Bearing 4) Possibly clutch (comes with bearing) 5) Possibly flywheel Is there anything I've missed? Has anyone tried the SPEC clutches from out host? I was looking at the stage 2 or 2+. I really liked my Kennedy Stage 2 in a previous car and was wondering if anyone had an opinion on the SPEC by comparison. Also has anyone tried the Fidanza lightweight flywheel? thanks

While you are there
You have a good list.
I have been there myself...so I will share with you what I learned. FIDENZA...Had one. .worked great, loved it for my 2.7. Stay with your organic clutch plate.. and if you are still using the kennedy and it is working fine then stay with it...but if you are replacing it...then I would go with the Sachs power clutch setup which is a clutch and pressure plate...that was my setup along with the Fidenza... Replace the bolts the seals etc...you will thank yourself later....plus it is a snap. You don't need the spec...and if you get it to grabby you will not like it. The Sach power clutch is a much as you need or want. Get the motor upside down and replace the exhaust nuts if they are rusty...its easier that way. Also while the motor is out replace the upper breather seal. that thing leaks! causing a mess. If the gaskets are leaking on the valve covers...replace them as well. I used the rubber ones which are torqued...and they are working great with no leaks. Check your fuel lines and see if any rubber needs replaceing. Check your shocks and see if the rubber is still good..and if they are in good shape. Take apart your CV Joints and check for corrosion and wear...replace if needed. I mean as long as the engine is out...get to the annoying things and things that will destroy your day.
