EURO H4 Headlights question ?

Hello guys!
Recently I purchased a pair of H4 euro headlights for my 1983 911sc ,
now i have the USA pair on my car and i want to switch.
and i need your help please
they have Two identical lenses,
one headlight has under the red ring a black plastic ring and write on a sticker in the back really weak:
0 301 800 103
and also: 911.683.113.02

The second one has under the red ring a chrom metal ring and write on a sticker in the back Very very clearly and strong :
0 301 800 101 and
911 631.113 00

and I have a couple red rings Who are sitting on the headlights And one of them has a screw and another is missing.
Does anybody have any idea what I bought and what is the difference between them?
Is this couple Suitable for 1983 SC?
I have attached pictures.
Thank you all

The one w/ the black plastic surround is an oe light, the one w/ chrome is an aftermarket version. AFAIK they are otherwise the same and should bolt on to you SC

Are you sure?
I think you're wrong, I know that the fake does not say Busch on the lens and is manufactured in the Czech Republic!
Thanks

You will want to buy two inner and two outer screws for mounting them.

H4 Euro Headlight Screw, Outer (1974-86) Brand: OEM
$1.00
911-631-132-00-M260

H4 Euro Headlight Screw, Inner (1974-86), fits inside outer screw Brand: OEM
$7.50
911-631-033-00-M260

The lenses that have the AL (Automotive Lighting) logo instead of Bosch aren't fake, they're just the way all the new Bosch are branded. And yes, they're likely manufactured in Czechoslovakia.

The black ring isn't plastic, it's metal, and like Bill says, is a later factory OEM mounted light. I believe the factory did use the chrome rings on the earlier cars with H4s, but am not sure.

My '78 euro has the original H4's. They are chrome underneath and have the painted covers on top from the factory.
Other units were either black or chrome and can accept the covers.

I think the word "fake" is misleading. There are original Bosh H4 lights that came with the cars. And then there are new Bosh H4 lights that are still being manufactured by "Advanced Lighting", a Bosh company. They function the same and the light output is the same.

Hmm, plastic... Guess you learn something every day. My factory OE lights are black metal under the painted covers, so I just assumed the OP was mistaken calling them plastic.

My mistake, I thought you said fake but you said AFAIK and I don't know what it means,
Anyway I think two of the headlights original , they have Busch sticker on the back and embossed bosch on the Lens.
My be the different part number is because the black and the chrome rings.
Am I right?

tom -- "AFAIK" is shorthand for "As Far As I Know" -- I suspect you're right on the source of the different part numbers too
