Sold on AAA
I have no affiliation with AAA other than being a member. I just saw this ad served today online and couldn't resist posting it. Even boring insurance company guys get it - early 911s are just awesome!

interesting.... Im pretty sure I tried to get AAA to insure my 86 a couple of years ago, and I believe they said they either wouldn't insure "old" 911s or it was obscenely expensive.
Targa, who is your carrier? That is not AAA is it?

AAA told me the same in 2011: My '79 SC is too old to qualify for a "collector's car" insurance?!

AAA did change their guidelines a few years ago, but did "grandfather" us in. I believe that AAA was paying out about $1.18 for very $1.00 in premiums and is no longer offering this service to post 1975 cars. Give them a call for their latest collector car policy criterions. Also, others may chime in on other insurance companies that offer Collector car policies. Hagerty has a pricing/valuation link. http://www.hagerty.com/Insurance/compare-to-daily-driver-insurance/?aff=goog_br&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_content=branded&utm_term=hagerty%20car%20values&utm_campaign=Branded+2014&kw=hagerty%20car%20values&pmt=b&mkwid=s0Mm43w1V&pcrid=37440169724&pdv=c&gclid=CJLP-4eZysICFUGUfgodIWoAaw Good luck, Gerry

Think he just liked the ad graphic. Be fun to stand in front of an agent and ask if they'll actually insure that car! I get adverts constantly telling me to save money, never found a price worth changing to, use Liberty Mutual as they're decent for regular driving around insurance, 12 to 15k/year.

Yes, I just liked the graphic especially since it looks like this longhood is sporting whitewalls.
BTW I insure my cars through Hagerty - agreed value and low annual premium. |

Statement.
It is per year as per the collector car policy.
The rates & availability have changed since we acquired our collector car policy. However, the AAA has "grandfathered" us in on the original policy. Gerry
