Opinions of my car graphics idea?

I want to add these to my car. This isn't my car but it's the color of my car. Is it too much? I drive it daily. I love martini colors and I love my car. But is this too loud?

My car. It's painted but not done so I don't have a good shot if it yet.

Hey if it works for you who cares what others think. As the saying goes, opinions are like a@@@@s, everyone has one but most are full of s@@@.

Its too bad the vinyl is so expensive, it would be fun to be able to experiment with different designs. I have always loved the understated yet bold Brumos stripes. I wonder if you did the Brumos stripe with white, yellow and black if it would look good?

I like the centerstripe more than the side stripes.

I'm also a big fan of the Brumos stripes.

Yeah Brumos would look cool. Where to get that graphic?
I love how the martini wraps the rear and hugs the flare.

This is my car right now. I'm waiting to get a paint booth to respray another topcoat because I had to sand down the dust nibs caused by my homegrown paint booth in my garage. The sanded finish makes it look lighter than it is. The doors are not sanded.

And then I go the other way, not so hot on the center stripe, but I think the side stripe would work well on your car.

will you be including the number panels, even if blank white as part of your scheme? what about the sponsor livery? meaning will you include the "martini", "gulf", or "brumos" text portion of the design? there are a number of tribute cars out here in no cal that race with prc. a couple of the purple, green n white "hippie" scheme, and a single woods car has a martini sort of scheme sans any text, with some yellow included. the yellow spoils it. you look at it and it seems so unright.

I have done graphics to salute the '70 lemans winning #23 Salzburg 917 mimicking the colors, streamers and car number . i played around quite a bunch with shelving paper and other patterns applied to the car to see what worked. fat? skinny streamers? long? short? entire car length, or ultimately what i decided was less was more. i thought the hood and fender limits suited the tribute to those that would recognize the intent... you can use the livery in a way to please the informed, without disgusting the uninitiated, IMHO.

I would just have the stripes, no martini or brumos fonts. I like the colors of martini and brumos but really like the style of the martini strips. It's either that or plain porsche letters on the side and strips in same Colors. Probably dull brick red to match my interior.

Go for the big stripes! I love how it looks flowing over the rear flares. If you want a car that looks like a racer, it will be hard to do better than that.

But be sure to watch out for cops - you'll get no mercy with a racing number on the hood.
