fuse blcok 160 degrees.
like most of us (most likely) i dont run my fans in my car (930) at all. i am too scared thye may start a fire especially since the front condensor fan caught fire on my car with the PO. the bad thing is the more we dont run them the worse they get. so i did some testing on mine at the house.
i connected my battery charger then turned on all my fans at once. i kept checking the fuses and wiring. one fuse, or maybe it was the contact on the block, got to 160 degrees. not good. i removed the fuse(s) and cleaned the ends with sand paper and cleaned the fuse block contact. turned everything back on and now it gets to 102degrees. what a maze of hoses and air routing porsche did in the front trunk for air flow. i think i have found all my fans and what controls them. i have one in the very front for the condensor, one in the smugglers box. this one appears to have its own plumbing to the vents that is not controllable. 2 foot well fans. i think these are controlled by the heat selector and they run all the time.

Yeap, too much resistance. I had to eventually replace fuse block #1 to keep the fuse from melting when I use the AC.

I just got rid of all that...I never used it and it was becoming a liability in my mind. Some of the fans had signs of overheating and melting down.
