Unhappy Customer first ! Think Again !!!

So after waiting for 7 LONG months i have my 911 back from the body shop after a drunk driver crush my gem, story short total bill
$ 22,759.98 NO JOKE,insurance paid for,so the owner ask me about the car and i replay is ok! my ok is based on
1) It took 7 months when he promese it in 2
2) They constaly hide from me over the phone
3) I Myself found 10 faults, rubber stem in one tire, all others are chrome etc etc
so after that the owner goes crazy and start
screamming hitting garbage cans and telling
his guys to find the bat that he was going to destroy my car!!! as i stood there in desbelive 30 minutes later he just said sorry i had a bad day!!
The paint looks like a mirror but a few faults still there, but i guess the next shop should be better i hope.
Another dissapointment of PORSCHE onwnership
Regards Juan and have a nice day !!! FOR ME.

In my experience, body shop guys are a little bit like world renowned surgeons...

...they're all stuck-up @ssholes that think they're God.

I had the same kind of reaction after calling my bodyshop on installing a new jack receiver 10-15 degrees canted around the centerline, and missing the positioning of my new cowl by a half inch. HALF INCH. That's a MILE in bodywork terms people. I was dumbfounded when he jumped down my throat. Guess who didn't get paid

Juan,

Sorry to hear of your incident.

Report the jerk to the Better Business Bureau, and file a formal complaint, listing all of the faults you found with the shop's work, the delays, and finally, the threats and verbal abuse when you went to pick it up.

Juan, Sorry to hear about your experience. I'm still amazed by the lack of detail I get from some, not all, P-car shops. Not to mention the damage done to cars without so much as a fake "sorry". It does make you do your own mechanical work as much as possible.

The bright side... you have your car back. Enjoy it!

This is one of the reasons why we have grown. I hate this customer-service piss-poor world, where getting good customer service has come to mean actually getting what you ordered on your burger.

Look for things to improve. Customer Service goes down the tubes in good times...

And expect only the best from us...

Juan,

It is truly MIND-BOGGLING that a legitimate body shop owner would treat a customer that way after a $22,759.98 repair job!!!

I think you should go over the itemized statement with a lawyer, after examining the car for evidence that non-OEM, brand-new parts were used, if that is what rhe invoice indicates were used. I would be willing to wager that corners were cut and that parts were misrepresented, and that fraud was involved ...

If you find any significant discrepancies, I believe that you should contact your insurance company and the state attorney general's office. Make this guy's legal bill exceed your invoice and get the legal system after him if there are any discrepancies on that invoice, and with a jerk like that, I bet there are plenty!!! He doesn't have any respect for his customers, and I bet he has even less for laws! Make him sorry that he woke up that day ... legally!

Unhappy

Early Man,Thanxs for the advice down side to this the car just looks AWESOME and them some
that don't justify the way the guy came back
the place is one of only 5 in US certified from the factory to work on the new aluminum audi, and they do some real good work that to the side ,i feel that a shop of that caliper should leave no room for a customer to point faults out,in my heart i feel that the problem was.
1)Im not a rich guy which they deal with every day
2)My car was refer as a OLD CAR ok is 13 years old thats all i can buy.
The good side to all this is that if the day came to part from her it be easy WAY TOO MANY
bad expirences, and not with the car i RUN this car HARD every time she is a great car is people in the industry that SUCKS.

Back in the mid '80's I put my 1978 Targa into a tree sideways (damn that gravel they put down for snow/ice). It cost $10K and took 6 months to get back. I refused the car twice because I told them I wanted "Black Glass" paint and I could see orange peel. That was after a long wait to get the car fixed in the first place. I can see 2 months, but not 6 months. Good thing I had a second car. Merchandising has replaced customer service too often, but not always. Merchants/businesses that are from the "old school" are like GOLD.
