Post Done with DIY

For those of you who helped me while I was trying to install my MSD...Thank you. I got it all put together, got a spark and fired her up. It now idles around 3200 RPM's. It runs rough, and I took it out for a short drive hoping it would remember how to idle. No luck. Getting on the boost, it sputters, blows smoke, and generally runs like crap. I still have the same spark plugs in it, that might have something to do with it running rough, but I am at a lost with the idle. So on monday I will take it to a shop. I leave on Friday, so I want to get this over with. I guess some of us just weren't meant to turn a wrench. On the up side, the tach works better than it did before I installed the tach adapter. Still not enough incentive to keep trying to work on it myself. This took over three weeks, and it still isn't right. So, I guess I will go back to paying to have it worked on. Thanks again for all those who put up and even answered all the stupid questions I had.

Don't give up, hey I am a pretty poor wrench too, but this board and the guys on it are a godsend, just start with little things and work away. The more you do the more you learn, and the more you do yourself the more you can afford to do. Plus it is satisfying as hell knowing that you did it, (with a little help from here)
