Could I get some feedback from those of your running one of these on a 3.2 911? How loud are they and are you running it with a cat? Is there a lot or any drone? Did you get one for Brian's valances for the muffler? Just looking for some feedback. Pictures are welcome. Thanks in advance.

I have the gt3 mufflers with the oem ats, running with Brians valence... I can't detect any drone at any rpm. Its loud and I installed baffles which helped somewhat... but its still loud since I have a targa. The best part about the baffles though is that it creates enough back pressure to get my torque back. I lost torque in the low end with no baffles in place... I may be selling mine and going with the 1 in 1 out M&K motorsport version since I am going to euro bumpers and want the stock look again.
Here's my thread on it... M&K GT3 exhaust.... install pics. |

I have a fairly stock 3.2 Motronic in my 73 targa. It has SSI's so I am using a 2 in 2 out M&K GT3 muffler. No cat, of course. I like the sound a lot. No droning detected, but this is not a cruising car anyway.
Not too loud around the neighbors, but plenty of bass when I step on it.

M&K pre-muffler/GT3 1 in 2 out on my 87 911. 87-89 dB interior at 80 mph. 104dB standing behind the car at 3-4K rpm.

I have the 2 in 2 M&K GT3 muffler on my 89 3.2 It's running straight pipes so no cat. No baffles in the exhaust either. It can be a little droney at lower-mid RPM's it seems but when you are up in the higher revs, it sounds amazing! And it's definitely a little bit on the loud side....no to loud, but just loud enough.
