Front strut and hub help
I bought a '74 911 front end without hubs. I found a set of 914/6 hubs with all associated hardware. It turns out the hubs fit great but the keyed washer and retaining nut (allen) are too small of a dia.
Can anyone confirm this or add some ideas? Does anyone have a set of front wheel bearing hardware that will fit a '74 911 front end? Thanks Kerry

Hello
The 911 has different axle pins and bearing sizes. However the hub is the same unit. Grüsse |

At some point Porsche increased the diameter of the end of the spindle and changed thread pitch as well. You will have to get a later style washer and clamping nut.
With early hubs on later spindles you also may have to provide clearance for the larger clamping nut required for the later spindles(in the area where the clamping nut resides) I have access to a lathe so it was a pretty harmless modification.

Do you guys think the nuts and washers are something I can find used? They are not too cheap new.
Thanks for the help. Kerry
