No rest for the wicked!
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Had to work a Saturday because a transporter was dropping off two cars, a 67S and a 67 Normale. The S came off no problem, the normale had a flat, so there I was, 20 feet in the air changing the wheel, did I mention it was -2 outside, so I'm guessing a windchill of about -20.
Sunday was better, barn fresh, 1 owner 69E, parked in 1972, heavily optioned, everything from sport seats to limited slip gearbox, and a file folder an inch thick. Cool stuff like the original title signed by Porsche, he picked the car up from the Factory, or service slips from Glocker. A very cool car. So even though I had to work all weekend, it was worth it, Monday, back to the grind, and we are getting a foot of snow, yeah! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I will give 5k cash for that E!
That thing is ridiculous. Looks like that car just needs a good cleaning and it is good to go. |

That's a great work weekend Matt. I feel you. Lots of detail work on a client's SC and started in on a '69S.
Good times. 😃 Thanks for sharing! Cooper |

The story of all three cars will be told in an upcoming issue of ESSES. Stay tuned.
