89 Console Controls

What do the lower controls on this console do? Its an 89. Thanks

Should be hazard lights, rear defrost, doors lock/unlock, and A/C controls.

I have seen lots of consoles with the upper knobs but none with the lower switches. that is the only picture I have I'm going to look at the car this weekend hopefully buy it

Probably an aftermarket add-on. All the ones I have seen have an open space below the a/c controls.

Hmm, it's really hard to tell from the photo, but those could be openings for the cassette tape holder thingies. My console has them in that location. They look like buttons, and you push them to eject the holder.

They look like aftermarket heated seat switches to me.

Hmm, the space below the red center unlock button is an open space in my stock console - I think its an aftermarket add-on

OK I went and looked at the car (didn't buy for many reasons). I asked the guy about the buttons and he said "the buttons operate the header latches" he said the top was not power except for the latches. Was this an option or ?
