Electric gurus
Funny thing I noticed for the first time on my 1978 911 sc. I park the car and go to have a discussion with the ups guy. We r talking about my car and the progress I have made, then we both notice the right blinker light is lit. Solid. Not blinking. Car is off and parking brake is on. I walk over to check and make sure my light switch is not pulled out. It's not. I notice my turn signal lever is up. I move it back to the neutral spot and it goes out. I move the switch to the other side and the left blinker light stays lit. This does not seem normal.
I did add an after market 3 rd brake light and tied into wiring upstream from the ecu unit. It works fantastic by the way. Thought I would add the above detail as it may shed some light potentially on this electric anomaly Any ideas why. Ps a boatload of what seems to be additional non essential wiring underneath drivers side of the dash. I did remove an old alarm system but did not have the kahones or knowledge to start pulling wires. Zip ties are a wonderful thing. Thanks, Gary |

It's a parking light commonly used in Europe.

At least you did not start ripping into things trying to fix it. lol
I see people driving with their Euro rear fog light on all the time and I bet they have no clue it is on. |
