I have a 95 993 narrow body and was going to convert to a GT2.
How was your kit. Were did you buy it..did it fit well....any tips. Thanks Jason |
Hi,
I bought my kit from Rennspeed and it did fit quite well compared to other kits that I’ve mounted. Off course there are a lot of job to get in place but not any major cutting etc. I don’t know how you will solve converting it to a GT2 though since you have the narrow body, in that case you have to change the rear fenders first to the wide fenders. This is the reason why I went for the RSR kit instead. Let me know if you have any other questions. |
I will order then the RSR kit.
hows the quality of flare....thin fiberglass?? I do like the bolt on look.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1440050488.jpg Here's my 993 now. Before surgery. I haven't started yet. |
By the way your 993 project looks amazing!!. Very nice job.
do you have a picture of it completed. |
The flares is thick and good quality.
You can see pictures of the car on page 5. That's more or less how it looks now after driving the first summer with it. There will be some updates during the loooong Swedish winter, but back to that later ;) |
Did you just screw the flares on or did you fibreglass them also.

All done. The GT2 kit from Resort was great and fit well...just have to extend the inner fender liners. |
