Pelicans willing to help with your car purchase

After reading this thread about yet another scam, I thought we needed a list of pelicans willing to check out cars for out of town buyers at NO CHARGE.

So here is the deal..... If you are willing to help an out of town buyer by checking out a seller, putting eyes or hands on a car, etc., list your location (city, state, country, postal code) and preferred contact method.

If you are a potential buyer looking for a fellow Pelican to give a car or seller a look, search this thread for the city, state, country and/or postal code.

Hopefully, this will turn in to a useful defense against the scammers.

Nice idea, but in truth lots of people just post asking if there is somebody in the area who would volunteer to do this. Most of the time they have no problem finding someone to help. With a thread of volunteers, the person may not be available at the time, may have moved, had a work schedule changed, or something else preventing them from being able to do it. Then you'd be back to asking for a volunteer in the area.
