79 930 - can anyone explain power locks/windows

My driver door lock is seized or locked up. But here is the catch...the windows are not working either as the switch wires are crossed.

Is there a connection between the door lock and the windows?

The passenger door lock is not seized up.

I am thinking something is stuck in the lock mechanism, it's rusted up or thier is a lock down mode.

Guess it's the byproduct of taking the car apart to the core during restoration

Thanks all

Ps- read everything I could find on the searches

'79 930's have Power Windows but the Door Locks are not power. The lock mechanism is known to stick at times.
