SHould lights flash?

Hi All -
I have been going through every bloody system in my car this winter. I thought I was down to only one issue, until I noticed something last night - my headlights do not flash.

When I pull the stalk, should they? (my car is a 77).

All other dash controls, lighting, turn signals, high beams, etc - even the trunk lights - are unmolested and work perfectly.

Should I be able to flash my lights with the stalk? If so, do I need to replace the entire column switch?

Thanks!!
Scott S

Yes they should flash. The stalk is probably burned. You might be able to bodge it if your clever.
You should also fit a relay for your high beams, to prevent this problem for the normal high beam.

Mine would flash over every bump until I did this fix. Very easy and worked perfectly.
