68S - should I add to the engine ?

I recently acquired a 68S targa and have engine out for refreshments and cleanup .
Question : should I add the timing chain conversion to hydraulic pressure? It's about 5 grand. I feel like not doing it. Am I cheaping out ?

There's heaps of posts on here and in the engine rebuilding forum regarding this modification.

For my 67S engine I used 930 tensioners and wide idler arms.

No Brian. The pressure fed are not much of an upgrade.

You may have early chain boxes that would not take them anyway.

Wide tensioner arms and turbo tensioners are recommended
