Where does this clamp go?

Heavy duty Clamp measures about 2 1/2 inches and has some sort of tube welded to it at an odd angle. think that it came off either my '86 donor or my '78 build.

That looks like a clamp for the heater valve to flexible heater tube. The piece welded on is a guide for the cable that opens/closes the heater valve.

+1, Just fixed mine the two ends come off.
