Side window seal replacement

Just got back from SoCal with a bag full of parts from our host ready for my winter projects. One of those projects is replacing the outside side window seals. The ones along the bottom of the windows that act as a squeegee when you wind the window down. Anybody tell me how the olds ones come out. Do I have to take the chrome trim strip off. How does it come off. Help here would be great.

I have the same question for my '89. Looks like you need to remove the door panel and the window frame? Don't know if it is the same answer for Steve's '69.

Thanks for the response. Thought it might be like replacing a door sweep. Anyway, just as well, I am planning to redo the lock tumblers, window winders etc so I'll fix the seal then.
