Oh, like the "Blowbye Porsche Report"? From Westonbug PA, that "Publishes 10, count them TEN mimeographed copies, and distributed from a box at Phil's Hardware in Central Westonburg PA every month. (Except for December) " That one actually IS international, because a German named Klaus was traveling thru, and it ended up in his luggage to wrap a leaking toothpaste tube, and made it back to the Homeland.

Sorry, but you set yourself up for that one.

OK, to be serious......maybe Porsche Panorama will do a 3 page spread? No, wait, it might be tough to publish "You'll see" and "Be patient" and "Future results in a year or so" and take up 3 pages. They have editors and stuff, after all.

WHATEVER

The main thing is because of the negativism attitudes and intent to disrupt by 20 to 30 or more harracement troll idiots here in the A/C threads; the other 911 Porsche early model A/C DIYers users here will be denied valuable & useful NEW information HERE

Tippy 05-10-2016 05:40 AM

I'd admit I have bit my tongue many times myself, and would have been in the troll category.

But there's a good reason, what exactly is your goal???

Build hype here, so when you launch your products, we'll praise you?

Sell product with Wayne eventually?

Show the journey from beginning to the final destination?

Was hoping and expecting a lot more than what's been presented.

I'm interested in your tech, but things are so convoluted, it screams RUN!!!

KelogGes 05-10-2016 07:07 AM

HOWDY again TippySmileWavy

I know you have been interested for a long time in my tech
So had Gilles

Praise is nice but I don't live for it!

First goal Show and Record the journey from beginning to the final destination
Second goal was to help DIY'ers here with qualified knowledge from many years of experience
Third goal goal Sell product with Wayne eventually
Forth goal redesign the whole A/C SYSTEM COMPLETELY to my satisfaction; TEST AND PROVE my discovery and invention REVERSING THE GASES

Fifth goal do something with my life that contributes and celebrates the beauty and wonderfulness of this 911 and the owners so I am remembered when I'm gone

Sorry; show to much presentation its stolen by competitors

He doesn't understand what the word "troll" means. He seems to think any sort of criticism of his method or mannerisms is "trolling". He reminds me of an aftermarket supplier for another German make. This supplier essentially uses the end user as a beta-tester. The end user often has to re-engineer the product in order to make it function as advertised. If you complain, they claim it fit on the test car, and offer to give you credit on your next purchase, or, more often, try to upsell more product. For some stuff, they are the only game in town.

That's the great thing about this guy. He's not the only game in town. And even if his stuff did twice the job for half the cost, I still wouldn't buy anything from him. Mostly because he says stuff that just isn't true. Like when he claims he invented the refrigerant reversal technique in these cars. If Wayne is smart, there is no way in heck he'll ever allow this guy to sell anything on Pelican Parts.

It varies on the install due to several contributing factors of components used

you will haft to wait this is the first Cabriolet I have been involved with for A/C

The DIY Owner is initially using his OEM stock front condenser blower

I would prefer he uses Shrouds on the front PFCs and a high CFM blower similar to what I did on "The Tan Swan" 911 A/C install over a year ago, BUT at this time he doesn't have these things

Tippy 05-10-2016 08:33 AM

Thank you for the response

I'm sorry. I thought I could ask technical questions in the tech forum and get an answer from the refrigeration genius. If one claims to be seeing more refrigeration effect, he must have made some kind of calculations and measurements. With out knowing your sub-cooling achieved and your superheat measured at the outlet of the evaporator, there is no way of knowing what the total refrigeration effect is. Or someone is talking out their ass!

KelogGes 05-10-2016 09:11 AM

I think I'll end this tread and not post this install here
have a nice day

lucifer572 05-10-2016 09:22 AM

!!!SPOILER ALERT!!!

The technology proposed here is actually a special device commonly referred to as a Kanooter Valve

Geez. I sure hope it wasn't something I said
Will this finally stop getting moved to the top? And let go, to die in the archives?
Ya know, a guy can only sit back and read utter bull$#!+ for so long.

Again with the REVERSING THE GASES.

(OK, that one was too easy. Sorry. SmileWavy)

lateapex911 05-10-2016 03:14 PM

So, my understanding of AC and heat pumps is basic at best. I thought the gas had to go one direction, get compressed, then go to an expansion valve where the temp change occurs....so how CAN you "reverse the gases"??

OR, is he referring to changing the order of the front and rear dealios? Is that really "reversing the gases"?

If so, I think that's an example of why people thought he used English as a second language.
