Probably, although I would use a 1/2 drive for head studs.

1/2 inch drive to tighten 25 ft # head stud?
At least the broken studs are short.

WOW!

Ever wonder why they make Aircraft mechanics account for all of their tools prior to sending a plane on it's way?

So I am guessing, as you did not state, the 3/8 drive swivel extension was laying in the lower valve cover?

As Bruce questions, where do you use a 1/2" drive ratchet/breaker bar on a 911 engine except for the cam nut?

A former squadron commander of mine used to tell stories of the "200 pound pheasant." This happened in England so that was the cost of what it took to repair the car after he hit the pheasant in the local currency (£), not the weight of the bird.

This makes me wonder what the "cost" of that swivel extension ends up being.
