Anyone ever use: Advanced Automotive New Winsor NY / Tom Florio
My new to me 930 desperately needs the ride height and alignment setup. A few friends told me to go to this shop, as they have had positive results. Please let me know if anyone else has used this shop and how their experiences where. Feel free to PM me if you prefer. Thanks.

Tommy is a great mechanic and a great guy He is very fussy about his work
Could not give him a higher recommendation

My car's P.O. used Tom for ten years(I have the receipts) and now I've been also for the past year. Granted all I've had him do was a compression/leakdown, three DE tech inspections and a four wheel alignment after I rebuilt my suspension. Very good experiences so far.

you know it will be done right he did a alignment , corner balance and ride height on my 73

He is awesome. He just swapped out a fifth gear in a G50/01. He is very meticulous and I highly recommend him.

Bumping this because I had a story that I think speaks to the kind of mechanic he is. He's got a race customer who blew his clutch on track last weekend. He fried a couple of gears by forcing shifts with the bad clutch.
There's an event next week. Yesterday, Tommy had me overnight a couple of replacement gears. He accidentally transposed a number on the ratio when he placed the order. He has asked me to overnight, AM Saturday delivery to his home, on his dime, the right gear so that he can deliver the car on Monday as promised. There's not huge margins on gears. He just gave away his profit on the shipping because he wants to look after his customer. These are the kind of dealers I want representing my brand. Regards, Matt Monson Guard Transmission llc

Cool. Thanks guys. I'm going to see him not this Monday but next Monday. Set ride height, corner balance, and align. A few other little things need attention too. Glad to hear my old girl will be in good hands..!
