Well...
I'm begining reassmbly of a stock '72 911T with MFI after chasing down multiple oil leaks and doing my part to keep Pelican financially strong. I'm replacing 30 year old oil lines, thermostat O ring, breather gasket, and any thing else that looks like it has been seeping or gushing. I did an engine/transmission drop (thanks to help from many of you!), degreased and stripped the motor down just short of pulling the heads off, the motor has 82K original and good compression. Now I'm trying to find some basic torque values such as: 10MM breather nuts Hollow oil line bolts Cam chain cover bolts Oil cooler mounting nuts I have the ones for the clutch plate, flywheel, valve covers thanks to this forum. My Haynes manual does not go into enough detail on the components above. I've done a thread search and looked through the tech articles... maybe I missed it somehow. (Blame my burning desire to get this wonderous car back on the road!) Can anyone point me to this info? (with out buying the rather pricey shop manual, my $ went toward seals, gaskets, tires, ignition parts, etc!) Thanks in advance!!! ![]()
