Struts for trunk lid and for engine lid

I have a 911 Targa, 1984 but when I bought this car the struts were missing and I do not see anywhere on the trunk lid, engine lid, or the chasis front and back as to where to mount some when I buy them.

Please, if anyone has a 911 with the Whale Tail and A/C, please take a picture of all the mounts and send it to me at blpdbp@gmail.com or call me at 941-204-6766

Very very much appreciated

Do you have the Turbo Arm for the the right side? If not you will need to use a Doubled Strut on the left side for your lid with tail.

or You can weld a like piece like my buddy did when he put on his turbo tail. I bought my turbo arm/hinge from a salvage yard.

The chassis mounts will be there, unless PO cut them off.

Right Side:

Sorry a bit dark but I swear it is there

and the Turbo Mount:

Draco's pics look spot on. I changed the right-side without to much difficulty, but even using a really long set of hemostats, I wasn't able to replace the left-side. It turns out that using the double-strength struts, the right-side holds it perfect and I just left the old one in place on the other side.

In short, get one double-strength replacement hood shock.
