What is this rusty chassis?
Three guage early rust bucket. Not fixable imho chassis number 457044. Couldn't find it in the red book. Is this a 912 chassis? When did 3 guages cease production ?

Yes, a Karmann bodied 912. No 3 guage in 1968.

Yes, an early 912, body by Karmann. Not sure when they stopped making 3 gauge dashes.

It's rusted in two. Quarter windows good, mirror, ducktail (metal), suspension, steering wheel, non sunroof clip, what else should I pick off this car when I'm there? Oh yea 3 stee lies, it's a 6 hr drive.
Is the vin valuable to anyone being an early 3 guage 912? Last edited by vintagecarlover; 04-26-2015 at 01:40 PM.. |
