Aligning window frame to door? Side window going down very slowly.

With the passenger door open, the electric side window goes down quickly and smoothly. With the door closed, after the first inch of travel, the window slows down a lot, is slow for 2 or 3 inches and then goes down well.

So it seems the window frame is getting deflected a bit when the door is closed. Is there a way to align it so this won't be a problem?
