Quiet Riot baffles

Anyone out there happen to be running these? Just installed them in a 2in2out m&k. Drone/resonance is gone, although it was never that bad to begin with, low- mid torque seems slightly increased. Wide open, still undetermined. Overall moderately happy with them. Probably will take them out soon.... Miss the loudness. My question lies with the spring pressure in the baffle itself. I have a hard time believing any amount of exhaust back pressure will overcome this spring rate, to allow them to fully open. After all, these are designed for a motorcycle. Anyone have any proven results of them opening?

No proven results, but top end doesn't seem to have been hurt and low end feels better on my '84 with a 1in/2out M&K

Not to mention the sound level is a lot more livable, although I still try to avoid finding myself alongside a black and white at traffic lights.

I feel ya.. I actually have received a citation for exceeding noise level with the borla exhaust....
In my defense, I didn't see him and was shifting at redline

Installation took about 20 minutes total, it is a simple as drilling a small 1/4" hole for the mounting screw in the tail pipe. I can take em out in a jiffy.

This ends the baffle question, they work.

We've worked with Rocky Mountain to adapt their active baffles for use with our mufflers. It's a nice option for those wanting to tone it down a bit on the low end. Torque is restored on unmodified engines with no loss up top.
Shoot me an email if interested Eric, we can do better on the price as I buy in bulk.

Brian, curious if you are implying that it is a different product, ie..spring, if ordered through you or rocky? Just wondering...

Product is the same, some of the housing sizes are shaved to fit our pipes as we use thin gage 321 instead of the standard thick wall 304. The cheaper the steel the thicker it has to be.
