Factory colors 'grape' or 'purple'?

Hey all -

I have a 'new to me' 1989 930s slantnose tribute recreation done by a guy named 'Dink Farmer' here in NorCal (with a n/a 3.2). It is painted a 'grape' or 'purple' color (which suits us fine since we grow Cabernet Sauvignon!) and I'm wondering if the factory ever offered such a color?

My thinking was probably *not*, but I recently saw a boxster in about the same color so I thought I'd ask the 'knowledge pool' -

Many times the color is more blue than grape, others (like when the sun is directly on it) it is more grape than blue. It is just about exactly the color of a Cabernet grape when ripe.....it is a metallic paint but very only slightly

Any ideas what color code this might be? I've tried to track down 'dink' but have not had any luck yet - will keep trying.

There is a dark blue/purple factory color called Albert Blue or Albert Blau

Looks like Prussian Blue- a late 80's color that looked purple in certain sunlight
