2.7 & 3.0 Engine Tin, are they the same?

I'm looking at picking up the long piece of Engine tin, closest to the fan, to complete my backdated heat with a nice clean routing of ducting. are these pieces universal?

thanks,
Farrell

I think they are the same and only changed for the Carrera. I would check the PET catalog for '74-'77 and also for the SC years and compare part numbers.

If you haven't used this, it's a great source - scroll down on the page:

Except for the early pieces, from 72 on they all have some hole on the left side. Air pump or heater blower air.
All pieces bolt to the same threads.

Just checked where I ordered mine earlier this year. They raised the price to $157. I will send you a PM.

I take that back. It now says reconditioned. When I bought mine, it said new. Hmm.
