Head Temp Sensor Location?
Trying to locate the head temp sensor to review before ordering replacement. Pelican Technical article says it's in the left rear wheel well. I can't find it, is this it?
Is this the connection? ![]() Is this it on the left and what's on the right? ![]() Also, this rubber connection is a little cracked, what is it and should I replace it? ![]() Thanks, JG

the white plug in the upper photo leads to it. the sensor screws into the front of #3 head. it's under an oval piece of rubber with a wire coming out of it. remove the L/R wheel for access. do not overtighten the new one, as it may break off in the head. job rated: minor PITA, but gets easier as you do more, not that you will. use silicone spray on the rubber, especially the upper grommet that the three wires go thru.

Head temp sensor is in the drivers' side rear wheel well. Look for a white wire. Here's a pic.
The round sender (about the size of a "D" cell battery) to the right of the fan is the oil temp sender.
