What is this connector and how do you disconnect?

If you are looking at the engine from the back it is the drivers side towards the front of the car. Looks like it is a fuel supply to the fuel lines? (Black rubber tube to metal nut)

On the rubber hose side there Should be a 12mm(?) hex area for a wrench on the smaller side of the fitting right up close to the larger flared fitting nut.

Unless someone rounded it off for you!
Then you are looking for vice grips...

Think that might come off your charcoal canister. The other end connects to a vent line coming from the fuel tank for emission purposes. That is if you are referring to the line with the male end showing with no hose connected to it.

This is not correct. Let me say it more gently, NFW is that the charcoal canister hose that is disconnected. The canister hose runs right through the middle of the pic. Kind of grayish and braided on the outer side. No terminals in sight. You see it?

Also, the "other end" is a smaller diameter hose that runs to the center tunnel from the charcoal canister, through the tunnel metal tube, reconnected to the little fiber wrapped hose, up to the expansion tank via the fender wall, back into the frunk and finally mates with the gas tank.

I assumed he was talking about how to get the fuel line mounted to the intake runner apart,
seeing as he asked how to disconnect it...

You are correct, Sir. That is what OP inquired about.
