Idle issues after AC removal - Coincidental??

What I am saying is I believe I had a bad connection, short on harness connector to 02 sensor.

During my testing I stated I discovered noticeable change in engine running when I wiggled a couple of my injectors.

I think I solved one problem, but discovered an issue I need to address in injector seals. Po shop that adjusted mixture may have compensated for injector seals sucking some air, so I believe when I replace seals I will need to do a new mixture adjustment.

As asked in earlier post, can I do an interim band aid fix and seal leaking injectors with dialetric, or RTV till the fall?

I want to say that I read stuff about RTV silicone molecules messing with the O2 sensor. However, I am not sure of the application.

I have seen, and maybe this is what you want, O2 sensor safe RTV sealant. I would clean go to town on it. Clean the top with carb cleaner or brake cleaner. Blow off let dry. Seal the whole thing off at the neck. Use black if you can. Orange, gold or red will look corny.

Overnight cure is good but I have never had any issues after two hours.

Bob, you misread my post, looking to seal my injectors till the fall. Not my 02 sensor.

Nope. You assumed I was talking about the O2 sensor. My intent was for you to seal every one of the injector "pots" after cleaning with the O2 safe RTV. Seal them off. Do it right this fall.

I read my post again. Yep, I can see where it is not clear.

What happens, assuming it happens, is the RTV stinks until it hardens. Molecules leave the sealing blob and if the molecules get sucked into the intake it can harm the functioning of the O2 sensor. Kill it dead.

Where will your repair be? Inches from the intake valve so that is the reason I went on about the O2 sensor.
