Engine number quiz- Please, help required!..!?
Dear all, I have just purchased a 1968 911, unseen, from a well known auction site... The chap selling the car states the original engine has been swapped out for a later engine (he seems to think a 3.0) with engine number 6520299. Could somebody please confirm which engine this is- I have searched high and low and am none the wiser!???

That serial number is for a '72 911t. Get the type number. It should be 911/57
