Any source for plastic switch nuts (light and defog)?

Here is what I am looking for on the defog switch. The light switch is similar.

Does anyone make a metal replacement by any chance? If not, even a new plastic one would help.

Thanks!

You may want to check if the black one of these will work:

FS: Switch Bezel, '71-73 Dual Fog Lights

I think that is a part you can buy from Porsche, so Pelican should be able to supply it. Porsche calls them rosettes. No idea what year car you have, so I didn't look up a part number.

javadog, it is a 1985. I will search under rosettes.

Should be the same part for both switches on your car.

no, the light switch is female thread and the defog switch is male thread.

Interesting. The PET diagram shows the same part for both. You sure the switches are both original?

As original as my 26 years of ownership and my fading memory will attest to. Anything is possible. I found one site that showed the 1985 with two different dash numbers - items 3 and 16 here:

Porsche Switch, -85 (903-05)

I bought one of each and will close this upon receipt. Thanks for steering me in the right direction.

I was thinking fog light, not headlight...

Maybe I misunderstood which two you needed.
