aand, damn hubcap loss

Trivial matter, I know, but I just painted all of my hubcaps and had them looking great. I had three when I got the car and needed to buy a fourth to complete the set, so I did that, then painted all together. Lovely--looked fantastic. Trouble was there were locking rings on three out of the four but the new one did not have that feature: NLA in America. I did use a punch to expand the cap for a tight fit and thought I had it snug. No. Yesterday I was hopping out of the car to grab some groceries and yeah, no hubcap. Does anyone know where to get the locking rings? I don't mind painting another hubcap, but the idea of another hand-done $40 coaster clattering down the road to nowhere kind of doesn't thrill me.

Little round thingy with a Porsche crest on it. I call them wheel centers.

Put silicone seal between the center cap and the wheel. Never lost one.

And then the tyre guy wreaks then getting them off or the silcone sucks up water and corrodes the whole lot together ,nah,I roll electrical tape around them till they fit firm....very easy and cheap.

The caps tap out from the opposite side after dismounting with a wooden dowel and a smack from a hammer, the silicon HAS NEVER damaged my wheels or caps. Been doing this for 30 years.

Maybe "silicon" has a different definition where you are from. But the stuff we use here is NOT water soluble and doesn't wick up or absorb or trap water.

Advice much appreciated--thanks to all. Do you think JB Weld would work?

JB Weld isn't removable and they must be removed to change tires or balance the wheel.
Use the RTV silicone as suggested before.

Just kidding!! Yikes. I am not the smartest man in the world, but I'm not putting center caps on with JB Weld. Best to all.
