Help in translating AC data
So I own a gauge manifold that I got just to pull a vacuum on my system to check for leaks, and then let others who know what they are doing do the rest. system is lackluster in performance. I put the manifold on today just to see what numbers I got but having no idea what they mean. your help in interpreting would be appreciated.
outside temp 90F readings car off, sat over night. 96/100 readings car and AC on 43/215 car turned back off 62/165 R134 keuhl hoses, L/R wheel well condenser, stock evap. discharge air temp 67 Like to hear what everyone thinks ! |

Should have cold air, I'd say moisture in the system because the pressures look about right.
An old thread here with a similar set up as yours and had cold ac with 26 oz. and the deck-lid gently closed over the hoses. My 2cents

George, shouldn't his lowside running pressures be closer to 28-30psi and highside of 220-225at 90F ambient? Or is that splitting hairs with regard to having cold vent temps or not?

I'd let vent temps tell me, I couldn't tell you exactly I don't do this often enough
