Hey, all -
I was cleaning up the garage today and I came across my handwritten engine drop checklist. I know there are differences in model years, so I thought I'd post this for any SC owners out there. - Disconnect battery - Remove fuel pump relay - Drain oil from sump - Drain oil from tank - Disconnect transmission shift coupler linkage (inside car) - Disconnect 14-pin connector to fuse panel - Disconnect 6-pin CDI from engine wiring harness - Disconnect O2 sensor - Disconnect transmission ground strap - Disconnect hard oil line (right side of engine to thermostat) - Disconnect and remove rubber oil line - Disconnect battery to starter wire - Disconnect clutch cable, arm & helper spring assembly - Disconnect reverse backup switch from back of transmission - Disconnect speedo cable from side of transmission - Disconnect breather hoses - Disconnect accelerator linkage bar - Disconnect cruise control cable (if present) - Unbolt axles from transmission - Disconnect 6-pin CIS wire (back of engine bay near cruise servo) - Disconnect fuel lines - Disconnect vac lines - Unbolt axles from transmission - Disconnect and remove rear sway bar - Remove rear bumper valance (optional, depends on your engine drop method) If A/C equipped: - Remove A/C compressor belt - Disconnect A/C compressor bracket & support compressor on side of car (be careful to protect paint) Hope this helps... happy motoring!

Probably, but all I have right now is my notes. Engine drop was over a year ago.
