Custom Painted Fuchs

Has anyone custom painted their Fuchs to match the color of their car (besides black - my car is a gold color) and then polished the lips, paddle tops, and center caps of the wheels? I'm hoping to see some pictures where this has been done before I go off and try it myself. Thanks!

The paddles aren't polished, but here's an example of body color wheels:

a few more examples

"Gold" or Platinum Metallic?

Eric Coffie took this shot; inclding my recently color-matched Platinum centers. . .way back there:

I did the center caps Black on Platinum for a nice subtle detail (shown here, prior to clear-coat)

a few more examples:
1980 Weissachs Edition came with 15” platinum fuchs (color-matched) as standard.

an example on a widebody cab

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the pics Island911 and Tuetonics

Actually, my car is Platinmettalic. Currently my wheels are set of factory forged fuch wheels (black centers) with 16x6s in front and 16x7s in the rear. I'm going to 16x7s up front and 16x9s in the back. In the process, I'm having a hard time deciding between how to have the new wheels finished.

I'm down to three options:

1. The black centered wheel with the polished lips/paddles/centercaps.
2. Platinmetallic painted centers with polished lips.
3. Platinmetallic painted centers with polished lips/paddles/centercaps.

The only custom finish that I have yet to see is the latter (Option #3) with the polished finishes in addition to the custom painted centers.

I'd love to see more pictures if anyone has them. Thanks!

Hell, while I'm spewing at the mouth as a result of my undecisive misery, does anyone have picures of a Platinmetallic 911 with black-centered fuch wheels that have polished lips, paddles, and centercaps?

Can you tell, I've been there before?

Ah yes...

I can see that you've definately felt my pain. Your car looks great with both wheel styles, but I'll have to admit that I don't think the fuchs with polished paddles look as good on lighter colored cars compared to darker colors such as black, blue, grey, red, etc.
