Does anyone know whether I can modify the my existing 2.2 E electrical board or should I look for a complete 3.3L turbo electrical board?
Can I just change the CDI from 3 to 6 pin ? What else needs consideration? John Walker or Warren, please help. Thank you. Rich |

you can mount the 6 pin CD on the board. the loom to it comes off the engine. the 14 pin plug off the engine plugs on the body plug but a few wires in them need to be rearranged to match up. the tach will need to be replaced. the tach wire has to be fished out of the body loom and spliced into the CD wiring. not to forget the double fuel pumps, relays and wiring to them, and 930 fuel lines to replace the originals. a power brake conversion will show it's need with the turbo engine. i did the same thing on my 73. pretty fast.

I just put a 3.0L turbo in my SC. If I did it again I would buy a MSD-6
