Dashboard compatibility
hello
Is it possible to use a 69-75 dashboard assembly on an earler 64-68 car ? or does anything need modifying to adapt it ? thanks |

Just pushing this back up, does anyone know if the dash is plug and play/identical fit between a first and second generation 911 ?

Ah ! I see.
Any chance the overall shape is the same ? meaning I could adapt the vents area of my dash to a later dash ? Just asking because this is the condition of my 67 dash, and I'm thinking since I don't seem to be able to find a correct year par at all, but a 69-70s one is available for just about reasonable money, it would probably be less work adapting the vent area from 2 to 3, than rebuild the dash I have ? ![]() ![]() hard to assess when you don't have all the parts at hand to compare. |

I've found this for sale, which judging by the photos, seems to be an early dash, that has been cut out for a later 2 vent system ?
Waiting on a reply about this from the seller, but that may mean i could do the opposite, and may mean that the later dash structure itself slots in ok on an earlier car ? Casquette de tableau de bord - Porsche 911 Equipement Auto Paris - leboncoin.fr |
