Best location for extra O2 bung on pre-muffler

Ill be adding a M&K euro pre-muffler onto my '88 3.2L and wanted to have them add an extra O2 bung on for a wideband before it ships. I'd like to have it after the two banks merge, so that leaves limited options on mounting location.

The body of the actual pre-muffler is not an option, so it looks like i am limited to the section right after the merge where the standard O2 bung is located. Can anyone verify if there is enough space around the spot marked in yellow (either rotated towards the body or engine) for the extra sensor?

I am unfortunately a few weeks from being able to check myself on my own car. I cant remember if there is enough clearance around the lower valve cover or body of the car (depending which way its rotated). Checking clearance around even a car with a test pipe would probably be enough to say if there is or not.

Another option is to install on the inlet of my muffler, but it would be easier to just have M&K do it before they send out the pre-muffler...it will save me from finding someone locally that can tig weld it as nicely as M&K can also! I'm a stickler for the details .

Looks like a good spot from a functional pov i.e. heat, but pretty sure the snap on stone shield wont fit and you'll have to run them "naked"'

George, there are no heat shields on the car right now (Bursch test pipe installed). I dont plan on installing one either with the pre-muffler.
