Indicator Erratic -- 88 Coupe

I have a right hand side indicator on the dash that operates normally when the car is stationary and then blinks quickly on the dash whilst the car is in motion/driven (like its got a broken circuit or blown bulb) ... everytime I stop to check the outside indicators functionability, the dash light starts blinking normally and all the outside indicator lights on the car function normally (unsure whats going on with the outside lights when the car is in motion) .... any help/ideas are appreciated

I'd replace one bulb at a time and see if that changes the behavior. If no change, I'd pull the back, right taillight housing connector (located in the back right engine compartment). If there is a change, you know the problem is in the back taillight housing. If no change, the problem is in the front signal.

Last night same here, bulb was ok......was a dirty fuse. Wiggle and clean the fuse.....There's one for each side.

Had the same symptoms. Turned out to be loos connection of right rear bulb in taillight housing. The little springy thing (sorry for the highly technical term) seemed to relax and no longer make reliable contact with the bulb. A quick pull with needle nosed pliers to bend the "little spring thing" to make better contact with the bulb fixed it.

Check the front turn signal housing. Those too are notorious for having spring contacts that fail and you have to take them apart to correct the loose contacts.
