Injector checks

Hey guys
I was trying to test my injectors but turns out my air box has a pop-off valve screwed down on it..how do I lift the air flap to activate the injectors?

Inside the air box, behind and right of the pop off valve, the arm of the air plate is visible. With the ignition in the "on" position, simply push up on that air plate arm and the fuel distributor will allow fuel to pump from the fuel injectors. Tim

Looks like a Bosch blue coil not the real 001 coil needed to work with the CD box. Lack of good spark could be some of the problem.
