Cool Another PMO linkage

Hi guys, here is how I hooked up my PMO carbs on my 1978 911SC when converting from CIS. I ordered a length of 6M all thread and some clevis from McMaster Carr and installed as shown in the photos. When setting the length of the rod I blocked the carbs full open and the accelerator pedal all the way down. The throttle response seems linear and there is plenty of pedal travel. The pedal stop controls full open. I extended the carb side if the bell crank a bit with a short piece of aluminum bar bolted in place. The pedal is a little stiff and I may dis-connect in of the return springs in rhe PMO,s.

Regrds,

John

The length was wrong and the end was about worn through so I went with the all thread. It gives infinite adjustment possibilities.

Nice job. Put some dry lubricant in your pivot points and see if that lessens the stiffness of the pedal?
