Help- Wheel stud length?
Hello! I have a 1969 that I plan to put 15 x 6 steelies on, and I want to use wheel studs that extend approximately 1/2 to 3/4 inch beyond the lug nut. Any idea what length (in millimeters) I should use? Also, no spacers plan to be used. Not looking for stock lock, more "rally" look.
Thanks in advance!

Well, not sure what you are asking, but 1/2" equals about 13mm, and stock wheel studs are 45mm. Hopefully you can take it from there.

The standard length wheel stud for a 69 is Part No. 904 341 671 00 per Porsche Genuine Parts Catalog Porsche Genuine Parts Catalogue - Porsche Cars North America.
Per our host: Porsche 911 (1965-1973) - Wheels & Related - Page 2 You can do the math. ![]() |

Anyone else? It looks like maybe 66mm is what I'm looking for?

When you put open lug nuts on a car with the original 45mm length studs, the stud hardly peeks out of the lug nut. So if you install 66mm studs, they will stick out of the open lug nut by approx. 66mm - 45mm = 21mm = 0.83 inches, slightly more than 3/4 inch
