Question about Bilstein front strut inserts

I just replaced the Bilstein front strut inserts on my '86 911 Turbo. After doing so I noticed that the Porsche workshop manual depicts the rubber bump stop being placed on the shaft that is on the top side of the strut, not on the bottom. The original struts had it on the bottom, so I just want confirmation that this is correct. Perhaps the diagram that is in the manual is depicting Koni, or Bosch inserts.

Thanks,
David
