Question Cabrio newbie! Requesting community support.

I've recently broke the main bow (Aluminum Part) on my 1988 911 and after looking for a replacement I've decided to have it welded. Mainly because I'm not willing to spend $1800-$2500 for a new-used one.

However, I'm am going to do the removal and installation myself and I know enough to know that I need some expert advise.

Yes, it is electric and yes...I'm going to keep it that way for now...I think

Either way, I found some book on this website specifically for Cabrio tops. However they are not available for purchase

Does anyone have books or video's or another references that I may purchase or just use?

Thanks in advance,

DEltaBravo,
I read a post by "Joe Bob" concerning cab maintenance, search "cabriolet top adjustment" and read his reply. I believe he posted that he had a Manuel. Let all know, I have an 87 cab, good luck!

I have two manuals in PDF. "Cab top manual 1" and "Porsche top adjust". If you send me a PM with your E- mail I can E-mail them to you. One of them is 12.3 MB, so you must be able to receive this large file. If not then PM me your address and I send you a CD.

DeltaBravo: I E-mailed the PDFs. Also, here is a thread from a fello Pelican that might help: Convertible Top Help
